Welcome to the official University of Kansas Cheerleading site!
I'm Corey Stone, the head cheer coach at KU, and pictured with me is my wife and assistant coach Nami and our sons Christopher and Cooper.
KU has a great cheer tradition winning NCA Nationals in 1990 and 1995 and placing 5th at UCA nationals in 2009. Cheering at KU, you'll become part of our 110-year tradition and you'll help make it even better! You'll cheer at Final Fours, bowl games, and UCA nationals, and you'll be part of a squad that supports and encourages each other like family.
When you graduate from this program and this university, you'll leave a better cheerleader, a better student, and a better person. I'm trying to build a squad of talented kids who:
- Strive to improve themselves and their surroundings
- Do the right thing even when no one's looking
- Believe their cheer squad can affect a game
